Message From Director CSC

Being the Director of the China Study Centre, Karakoram International University (CSC-KIU), I have the great honor and pleasure of introducing you to the center’s activities. The China Study Centre (CSC) at Karakoram International University (KIU) is funded by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Government of Pakistan.  The CSC-KIU is devoted to study and research on the diverse, culture and polity of China, Pakistan and surrounding mountain regions. It aims to provide a base to learn a window of opportunity to take advantage of the developing research collaboration in Xinjiang and Mainland China. The prime mission of the CSC-KIU is to enlightened people in Chinese language, culture and society. In addition, it aims to provide both teaching and research related to China and Pakistan economy and society for a better understanding of the global, national and local economic issues that will confront our society now and in future.
